Will artificial grass fade in the sun?

Quality turf, no, not in any way you’ll notice year to year. Color survival is decided at the factory, where UV stabilizers are compounded into the resin before the fiber is ever extruded; they’re part of the blade, not a coating that wears off. That package is exactly where cheap turf cuts cost, and it’s why bargain lawns go pale and brittle in a few summers while a well-built lawn reads the same green in year ten as year one.
Every EGD product is built on UV-stabilized fiber and carries the 16-year warranty, which tells you where we expect the color to live on that curve. If you’re comparing suppliers, ask for the UV weathering data on the exact product; a mill that runs the test prints the result, and a listing that never mentions UV is telling you something too.
