How delivery works here.
The corridor is covered station to station: Boston, Albany, and Rochester across the north; Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh down the spine. Trailer pickup at any center (forklift loading included) or door delivery quoted to your ZIP, brownstone backyards included.
Northeast projects run smaller than the national average, and that is where our cut-to-length model shines: a 12×18 Brooklyn backyard buys 216 sqft plus trim, not a full roll.
Four seasons, small footprints, big rooftops.
Northeast turf does city duty: courtyard lawns that never see direct sun stay green anyway, rooftop decks in Manhattan and Boston get lawns where soil could never go, and suburban yards end the mud season that follows every snow melt. Freezing does not harm the fiber; base prep for freeze-thaw (our install guide, step 2) is the region’s one non-negotiable.
For rooftops (one of our strongest Northeast use cases), low-pile products keep weight modest while water passes through to the building’s own drainage. See the roof decks & patios page for the full engineering picture.

Regional FAQ
Asked in Northeast.
Do you deliver into cities like Boston and New York?
Yes. Door delivery quotes to any ZIP, and hub pickup at Newark, Boston, or Albany works well for contractors. For walk-up buildings, tell us about access when you order so we plan roll sizes that fit the stairwell.
Is a small-yard order worth shipping?
Usually yes: you buy cut length from a 15-ft roll, not a fixed roll. Send dimensions and we will quote the economical path honestly.
Can I install artificial grass on a Northeast rooftop?
It is one of our favorite regional use cases: low-pile products install over the deck surface, drain to the roof’s own system, and turn unusable tar into outdoor rooms. Confirm weight allowances with your building first.
How do I find my nearest pickup point in Northeast?
Type your ZIP into the finder on this page: it ranks the closest EGD warehouses and freight-partner service centers with mileage. Hub pickup is typically the most economical way to take delivery, and door delivery covers everywhere in between.
