EverFlow 88 (FlowThru)
SKU EVRFLOW88 · 88 oz · 1.65″ · Mini S Blade · 15-ft roll width · FlowThru backing
EverFlow 88 is built around drainage. Its permeable backing passes more than 1,000 inches of water per hour across the entire surface, so rain, hose water and pet messes move straight through instead of pooling on top. Above it, a 1.65 in. Mini S-blade pile in olive and lime green delivers the soft, natural look of a lawn in any climate.

EverFlow 88 answers a question wet-climate homeowners ask every winter: why should drainage turf look like drainage turf? Its permeable FlowThru backing passes more than 1,000 inches of water per hour across the entire surface, so storm after storm moves straight through to the base with nothing pooling on top. There are no drain holes doing the work because the whole backing is the drain.
The lawn above gives nothing away. A 70 oz face of Mini S-shaped blades stands 1.65 in. tall in an olive and lime blend, and the Mini S profile is the same shape we use on our most realistic landscape turf: its curves scatter light in every direction, killing the plastic sheen that gives lesser turf away. The result reads as a soft, healthy natural lawn in exactly the climates where a natural lawn turns to mud.
For rain, for pets, for both at once.
Most yards in wet regions carry a double load: the weather soaks them and the dog still needs somewhere to go. EverFlow 88 is built for that overlap. The FlowThru backing that shrugs off a Pacific Northwest winter is the same one that lets urine rinse straight through, so one surface serves the whole family without zoning the yard into lawn here, pet turf there.
It is the right call anywhere water is the main adversary: low spots that puddle, shaded side yards that never dry, pool surrounds, or any landscape where you want to hose the whole thing down and walk on it minutes later. If the space tilts from "lawn with a dog" to "dog run with some lawn," look at EverPet 87, which trades pile height for an even more cleanup-focused build.
Right fit, wrong fit.
Choose EverFlow 88 (FlowThru) for
- Wet-climate yards where rain pooling ruins ordinary turf
- Lawns shared by family and pets that need rinse-through drainage
- Low spots, shaded side yards and pool surrounds that never quite dry
- Homeowners who want maximum drainage without giving up a realistic lawn look
Look elsewhere when
- The space is a dedicated dog run or kennel: EverPet 87 adds a shorter cleanup-friendly pile, a zeolite infill spec and antimicrobial protection
- Your climate is dry and standard drainage is plenty: Evergreen 87 delivers a similar tall, natural look through its perforated backing
- You want the deepest, most luxurious showcase pile: Evergreen Legacy 107 carries a full 2.00 in. of mixed W and C-blades
Rolls, infill, and install notes
EverFlow 88 ships on 15 ft. wide rolls up to 100 ft. long, so sketch the yard against that width first; a 28 ft. wide lawn is two runs and one seam, and running rolls the long way usually wastes the least material. The permeable FlowThru backing only performs as well as what is under it, so build a clean, free-draining base; in genuinely wet ground, deepen the base rather than counting on the soil. Finish with 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of infill per square foot brushed through the 1.65 in. pile. The installation guide covers drainage-first base prep and the tool checklist rounds up the tools.
Pairings & the ladder
Inside the EverFlow line, EverFlow 88 (FlowThru) sits alongside EverPet 87 (FlowThru). The climb is weight and density: more ounces per square yard means more blade per inch underfoot.
EverFlow 88 (FlowThru) FAQ
Asked about this product.
How do EverFlow 88 and EverPet 87 differ?
Same FlowThru drainage family, different job. EverFlow 88 is the lawn: a taller 1.65 in. Mini S-blade pile at 88 oz total, styled to read as a natural yard. EverPet 87 is the dedicated pet surface: a shorter 1.25 in. pile that keeps waste on top, a zeolite infill spec and Sanitized antimicrobial protection. Pick by what the space is mostly for.
Will EverFlow 88 actually keep up with heavy rain?
The backing drains more than 1,000 inches of water per hour across its entire surface, which is orders of magnitude beyond any rainfall on record. In practice the limit is the base beneath it, which is why we build EverFlow installs on a free-draining base: the turf hands the water down as fast as the ground can take it.
Does a drainage turf still look like a real lawn?
That is the point of the Mini S-blade. Its compound curves scatter light the way living grass does, so the olive and lime pile carries color variation instead of shine. The drainage story is entirely under the surface; from the patio, EverFlow 88 is simply a healthy lawn.
