Getting turf in Provo.

Provo draws from EGD’s own Salt Lake City distribution hub, 45 minutes up I-15: staged in-state inventory, not cross-country freight. Trailer pickup at the hub with your order cut and waiting, or door delivery quoted across Utah County: Orem, Springville, Spanish Fork, Vineyard, and up to Lehi.

The Utah County growth corridor is a working relationship, not a market. Vineyard and the Lake Mountain west side add streets monthly, and builder packages out of the SLC hub turn faster than any freight-only supplier can match. Volume tiers from 500 sqft; contractor pricing past that.

Built for yards that never get a day off.

Provo backyards work harder than lawns anywhere else in the country: the biggest households in America, church groups on Monday nights, cousins every weekend, and a trampoline radius that kills grass in a season. Turf is the surface that keeps up: cushioned pile that handles cleats, cartwheels, and slip-and-slides, no mud ring under the swing set, and no month where the yard is roped off to recover. For BYU-area rentals and student wards, the same math applies with the tenants’ names changed.

Meanwhile the county around it is Utah’s fastest growth corridor, and every new Vineyard and Spanish Fork street faces the same water reality the rest of the state is legislating around. Rules vary city to city in Utah County (check your municipality’s current landscape code), but the direction is one-way, and a zero-irrigation yard is the spec that’s already compliant with wherever it lands.

Provo FAQ

Asked in Provo.

Can turf really handle a big family’s daily backyard traffic?

That’s the product’s home turf. Dense pile with ballast infill takes daily cleats, trampoline landings, and party crowds without the bare patches grass develops under the same duty. High-traffic yards here do best with our cushioned EverPlay line; tell us the head count and we’ll spec for it.

How fast can a Provo order be ready?

Days, not weeks: inventory stages at our own Salt Lake City hub 45 minutes north, so pickup orders are cut and waiting, and Utah County door deliveries skip the cross-country freight leg entirely.

Does Utah County have the same turf-grass rules as Salt Lake?

Each city writes its own landscape ordinance, and Utah County municipalities are moving the same water-saving direction at different speeds. Check your city’s current code before a front-yard or strip project; our published spec sheets cover the documentation any of them request.

What about freeze-thaw at the base of the Wasatch?

Provo winters cycle freeze and thaw constantly along the bench, which is why our install spec leads with deep, compacted base rock, so the surface rides level through the heave that ripples poorly-prepped hardscape. The fiber itself is indifferent to any temperature Utah Valley produces.
