The dual-blade recipe at full depth.

Legacy 107 takes the mixed-geometry idea from Legacy 92 and runs it two inches tall. W and C blades alternate through an 80 oz face: the Ws holding structure and a matte face, the Cs flexing and throwing soft highlights, tan yarns scattered through the field and apple green. At 2.00 in., the variation stops being a surface texture and becomes depth; look into the pile and you see layers of differing shape and shade all the way down.

Density keeps the depth honest. Eighty ounces of 10,000 denier yarn per square yard is enough that the pile supports itself and your eye never finds the floor, while the 4,400 denier curly thatch and tan accents fill the lowest stratum with the warm undertones of established grass. The effect holds from every angle, which matters on a lawn seen from the house, the street and the garden.

Made for grand spaces.

Legacy 107 is scaled for estates, large showcase yards and landscapes designed to impress: places where the lawn is a feature in the composition, not just the ground. The full 2.00 in. pile gives it presence across big open areas, and the deep, soft surface invites bare feet and long afternoons on it. It takes regular family use comfortably; this is a durable lawn, just one styled for display.

Underneath, nothing exotic: woven PP backing with two polyurethane coats, perforations moving 50+ in/hr of water, 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of infill per square foot, 16 years of warranty. The practical notes are the ones that come with any deep pile. Budget brushing time after events, check gate and door clearances, and give the installer a layout plan that keeps the grain uniform across wide areas.

Right fit, wrong fit.

Choose Evergreen Legacy 107 for

  • Estates and large showcase landscapes where the lawn is part of the architecture
  • Buyers who loved Legacy 92's varied two-blade texture but want it with full 2.00 in. depth
  • Entertaining lawns chosen for bare feet: the 107 oz build is the plushest dual-blade surface we make
  • Brighter palettes: field and apple green with tan accents reads lush and irrigated, not dark

Look elsewhere when

  • The lawn takes heavy, constant traffic: Legacy 111's 84 oz all-W face is the resilience pick at this height
  • A formal, clipped look fits the property better: Legacy 92 keeps the same realism at a tidier 1.65 in.
  • Only the deepest, densest option will do: Legacy 127 carries a 100 oz Mini S face above everything else in the line
Rolls, infill, and install notes

Rolls measure 15 ft. wide by up to 100 ft. long, 1,500 square feet each, and big showcase areas deserve a seam plan: order so panels run one direction with seams off the primary sightlines, since reversed grain shows plainly in a mixed-blade pile. Work in 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of infill per square foot over 3 to 4 in. of compacted aggregate, power brooming between lifts to stand the 2.00 in. pile up. The installation guide covers large-area sequencing, and the tool checklist covers the kit.

Pairings & the ladder

Inside the Evergreen Legacy line, Evergreen Legacy 107 sits alongside Evergreen Legacy 92, Evergreen Legacy 97, Evergreen Legacy 111, Evergreen Legacy 127. The climb is weight and density: more ounces per square yard means more blade per inch underfoot. Heavy pet traffic in part of the yard? Many customers split the space and run EverPet 87 (FlowThru) with its 1,000+ in/hr FlowThru backing in the dog zone.

Evergreen Legacy 107 FAQ

Asked about this product.

How do Legacy 107 and Legacy 92 differ beyond height?

They share the dual W and C blade construction, the field and apple palette with tan accents, and the same backing stack. The 107 adds a third of an inch of pile and fifteen more ounces of face yarn, which turns the texture into visible depth and a plusher footfall. The 92 trades that depth for a more formal posture and quicker recovery. Same idea, two different presentations.

Will a 2.00 in. pile mat down in gathering spots?

Where chairs and crowds sit, any deep pile flattens temporarily. The C blades are curved to spring back and the W blades resist creasing, so with the specified infill bed the surface recovers on its own over a day or two; a broom against the grain speeds it to minutes. Permanent matting is a sign of skipped infill, not a property of the product.

Is Legacy 107 too much turf for a small backyard?

Not if depth is what you want; it installs the same at 300 square feet as at 3,000. The honest consideration is traffic concentration. In a small space used intensely, the whole lawn is a traffic lane, and Legacy 111's denser all-W face will hold posture better. In a small space styled as a garden feature, 107 is exactly right.
