Engineered to bounce back.

Legacy 111 is the resilience specialist of the Legacy line. Its 84 oz face is all W blade, the stiffest geometry we tuft, at a full 2.00 in. in olive and clover green. The math of that combination is simple: more fiber per square yard than any dual-blade Legacy, every strand of it ridged for structure. Step on it and the pile compresses like a mattress, then the Ws lever themselves upright again behind you.

The olive and clover pairing runs cooler and more classic than the apple-based Legacies: olive supplying the deep base tone, clover the fresh top note, so the lawn reads established and well kept rather than newly sodded. The W blade's matte faces hold that color steady through harsh midday light, with no hour of the day when the surface flashes or washes out.

Premium looks, daily duty.

This is the Legacy for households that will actually live on their showpiece: kids and dogs crossing it daily, games on the weekend, furniture dragged out every summer evening. The 111 oz total build carries FIFA Quality certification, so its wear resistance is independently machine-tested rather than promised, and the full canopy means traffic lanes close over instead of showing.

It installs and lives like its siblings: woven PP backing with two polyurethane coats, perforated 50+ in/hr drainage, 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of infill per square foot, 16 year warranty, any climate. Choose it when the brief says the lawn must look untouched every morning no matter what happened on it the day before. That is the specific problem this density was built to solve.

Right fit, wrong fit.

Choose Evergreen Legacy 111 for

  • Showpiece lawns with heavy daily use: the 84 oz all-W face recovers faster than any mixed-blade Legacy
  • Families who want premium depth at 2.00 in. without babying the surface
  • Buyers who value third-party proof: the construction is FIFA Quality wear-tested
  • Classic landscapes suited to the deeper olive and clover palette over brighter apple greens

Look elsewhere when

  • Up-close realism outranks resilience: Legacy 107's mixed W and C blades with tan accents look more like living grass
  • You want the absolute maximum density and a velvet-matte finish: Legacy 127's 100 oz Mini S face is the ceiling
  • The heavy use is specifically dogs in a run: EverPet 87's FlowThru backing and antimicrobial protection are purpose-built
Rolls, infill, and install notes

Legacy 111 ships on 15 ft. wide rolls up to 100 ft. long at 1,500 square feet each; lay out cuts against the 15 ft. width, keep all grain one direction, and aim it at the main viewing angle. The dense 2.00 in. pile needs its full 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of infill per square foot worked down in stages with a power broom, over the usual 3 to 4 in. of compacted aggregate. Seam carefully; a tight pile shows a proud seam more than a loose one. Details in the installation guide; gear on the tool checklist.

Pairings & the ladder

Inside the Evergreen Legacy line, Evergreen Legacy 111 sits alongside Evergreen Legacy 92, Evergreen Legacy 97, Evergreen Legacy 107, Evergreen Legacy 127. The climb is weight and density: more ounces per square yard means more blade per inch underfoot. Heavy pet traffic in part of the yard? Many customers split the space and run EverPet 87 (FlowThru) with its 1,000+ in/hr FlowThru backing in the dog zone.

Evergreen Legacy 111 FAQ

Asked about this product.

What makes Legacy 111 recover faster?

Fiber count and fiber shape. The 84 oz face packs more W blades per square yard than any other Legacy except the 127, and the W cross section is the stiffest geometry we use, so each compressed blade stores spring and neighboring blades hold each other up. With a full infill bed anchoring the base, footprints and furniture marks lift out on their own.

How does olive and clover read vs the other Legacies?

Deeper and more traditional. Olive is a dark, slightly gray-leaning green and clover a clean mid-green, so Legacy 111 looks like a mature, well-tended lawn in a temperate climate. Field and apple blends, as on Legacy 107, read brighter and more irrigated. Neither is more realistic; they suit different houses, so order samples against your hardscape.

Does FIFA Quality change how I should use Legacy 111?

No; it changes how much you can trust it. The certification means this exact construction survived FIFA's independent wear-cycle and resilience testing for soccer surfaces. You still install and maintain it as a landscape lawn, but the heavy daily use that would eventually thin a lesser pile is well inside what this build was tested against.

Can I get a free sample of Evergreen Legacy 111?
